RENO, NV – With recent news of our state’s ever-increasing unemployment rate–now at 13 percent–many locals say despite national claims, the economy here does not seem to be improving much. But even with a meager outlook, some local entrepreneurs are still risking it all to follow a dream.

Longtime Reno-ites Margret and Steve Suda say the recession actually helped them realize their potential. After Steve took an early retirement from IGT, the family decided to follow their dream of opening up a small café with a healthy, friendly feel.
